We had a GREAT weekend in Savannah. The weather was perfect...high 60's for lows and low 80's for highs....and
GREEN GREEN GREEN! Flowers everywhere...one beautiful spring day after another. The original forecast called for possible rain and thunderstorms...but the only rain was a little drizzle on Saturday night.
John and I arrived first...followed by Megan and Marcus, and then on Friday... Brenna and Josh, Maureen and Brian ...Sandy & Ken and Bill and Kathie. Our room overlooked the front entrance and I had fun looking out the window from time to time to catch people as they pulled up.
John and I took a nice early morning walk on Friday. It was quiet and the air felt great...birds were chirping...it was so peaceful.

I had to get on the little boat and pose...haha
Loved all the stone walkways, and steps down to the river front. Savannah is a great town for walking around. The stairs were pretty steep...not good for those with the bad knees!

I had gotten a list of dining selections from a tour book...this was one on my list. It was a former garage converted to a restaurant/art gallery. Fun! Great chicken salad. It was a short walk from our hotel.

Megan had a test run with the hair stylist. She did a great job. We went down to the courtyard and took a bunch of pictures. It was a great space...didn't get to enjoy as planned Sat night...too humid...then some rain...but we took over the inside instead. haha

While the guys golfed...Brenna, Megan Josh and I walked around downtown...checking things out and doing a little shopping.

Brenna found this place online...we decided to head there...and I am glad we did. I had a delicious Mexican Chicken Salad.
Everything was good...and they had gluten-free options for Megan.
It was a great Friday night.
Maureen had ordered a Pedicab...we all decided to do the same.
