Cookie Time

Saturday it rained all day long...so it was a perfect day to make some cookies!
I have lots and lots of cookie cutters, but some are more trouble than they are worth...so I opted for these...easy to use ones.
The more detailed the cutter...the harder it is to get the dough out in one piece...so I didn't use many of that type.
Some of these I bought myself, a couple were gifts over the years (like the angel from my sister-in-law and the sign language symbol for "I Love You" from my mom.
The simpler the better...I'm not really trying to impress anyone...just want to make some sugar cookies! haha
The reindeer are always good with a little dusting of cinnamon sugar. And the hearts are just the right size for a little tasty treat no matter what holiday you're celebrating. A little red & green sugar...and it's Christmas!
My little collection of "gingerbread" men cutters. One was my Great Aunt Martha's.
I keep them in a little basket on my hutch all year long.

About my picture...you know how people look a lot like their dogs...isn't it amazing how much Kiena and I look alike! Ha ha Actually I am Anne; aka Mom, Aunt Anne, Annie(to a few) Annabelle(you know who you are), Miss Anne(at work), Librarian Anne or (better)Library Anne(at the preschools where I go read), or Mrs. Kaminski when I volunteer at the schools.I have always liked to write things down and share my thoughts and when I started reading other blogs,I decided this might be just the thing for me! So here I am........our friend Ron recently gave me a new nickname when he saw me in the Alabama shirt...the new name is ANNABAMA.
